Our Story
Ichtheis Baby Swimming was created in September 2011 with a lot of love by Nicolas Hatzigiakoumis and Christina Chrisoxoidou-Hatzigiakoumi a few months after the birth of our son, who is Pisces – hence the name Ichtheis, which is the Greek equivalent of Pisces.
Our love for the children and for sports urged us to become educators and eventually dedicate our lives to the most well organized baby swimming programme in Greece. Then, during the pregnancy of our second child, we went to Russia and brought the only aqua yoga programme for pregnant women in Northern Greece. Through our need to raise (and grow with) our two children, we discovered that this is not just a learn-to-swim program, but a way of living!
